SEWP VI Overview
NASA SEWP (Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement), pronounced “soup,” provides the latest Information Technology, Communications, and Audio-Visual (ITC/AV) solutions and services to all Federal agencies and their approved contractors. Created in 1993, SEWP was the first Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) in the federal acquisition space. SEWP is self-funded through a usage fee (0.34%) and supports Federal agencies with more than 50,000 orders a year.
SEWP VI is composed of three scope categories. Cloud9 Security Services holds a Category C award, covering Mission-Based ITC/AV Service Solutions.

Fair Opportunity & Requests for Quotes
Identification of contract status under the multi-award SEWP VI GWAC
Cloud9 Security Services’ SEWP VI award (Contract No. 80TECH26D1610, Category C) is one of multiple awards issued under the NASA SEWP VI Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). Contractors are provided a fair opportunity to be considered for each order at the individual order level, as appropriate, per FAR Part 16.505(b), including use of the SEWP online Quote Request Tool (QRT).
Fair Opportunity Clause (FAR 16.505(b)(1))
FAR 16.505(b)(1) provides that each contractor shall be given a fair opportunity to be considered for each order exceeding the micro-purchase threshold and issued under multiple-award contracts. The method for obtaining fair opportunity is at the discretion of the ordering Contracting Officer, who must document the rationale for the placement and price of each order. Cloud9 Security Services will respond to Requests for Quote (RFQ) issued through the NASA SEWP online quoting system with items available on our SEWP VI contract, priced no greater than the SEWP database of record at the time the quote is issued, consistent with the SEWP VI Contract Holder User Manual (CHUM).
No documentation of order selection is required to be submitted with the order — such documentation is maintained by the issuing procurement office.
